My sweet little Boozle is almost 2. We were debating what to do for his birthday in February and couldn't decide what to do. We didn't want to do a big party since he's only turning 2, and we were just really wishing we lived closer to family to have them over. Then we remembered that T's mom and sister were going to be here until 24 Jan so we decided to celebrate a few weeks early so they could be with us. We started with pizza and ended with a delicious beep beep carrot cake. The cake decorating class that T and I took definitely came in handy and made me excited to be able to decorate future birthday cakes. We sang Happy Birthday about 4 times, per Boozle's request, because he just loves blowing out the "jatte varm" (very hot candles). I just still can't believe my little baby is almost 2.
His favorites:
-song: a toss-up between Popcorn Popping and "New York" (Empire State) by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys
-food: edamame and yogurt
-words: skolbuss (school bus), dump truck, bilar (cars), moleeee (as in holy moly), cykel (bicycle), da Lincoln, jatte stor (very big)
-drink: organic whole milk
-activities: going to Gymboree, playing with beep beeps, going to parken (the park), going to Costco & Trader Joe's (sometimes when he wakes up he asks to go to either store; he loves a store with food samples), climbing up and down the stairs, holding Lincoln, chasing Papa around and around, playing with "slacka wampan" (turning his touch lamp on and off)
