Well, it's official. We're moving. Not to the big apple, but close by: to New Jersey. So it's a 45-min train ride to the big apple. Any takers? T got a great job offer with Verizon so off we go. We're not sure when we'll go, but most likely in the next month or so. And we'll be staying
here for 6 months courtesy of Verizon. The extra bonus? A maid comes once a week. Sign me up. :) So meanwhile, we have to get our house all spic and span. Mulch, weeding, touch-up projects, refinishing the deck, restaining the fence. Fun times. So while I do that, Boozie gets to enjoy the plentitude of mud and his pool. He's a big fan.

(And for all of you who are wondering: no, we haven't cut his hair yet.)
Other updates: he stands! Mostly while he holds onto things, but we've caught him a few times standing all by himself for a few seconds at a time. Where's my baby going? He's going to pick up and walk away soon. Sad.

Congratulations!! So happy for you! It will be exciting to see new places and meet new friends. Of course there are the places left behind and the friends missed and those who will miss you too. Luckily you can stay connected with your connections in the "cell phone" world!!
Congratulations on the new job! Where in NJ will you guys be? That's where my in-laws are (and where Bill grew up). Trav must be the only person finding a NEW job right now. I'm sure you guys will like most of NJ, and get some comic relief out of the rest. ;)
most of new jersey is much too "country", "rural", "farm-like" for me, a city girl. so hopefully we will end up in morristown, chatham, or madison. we'll see... the job is in basking ridge where verizon's headquarters are.
how fun! good luck with the move, i would LOVE to live in manhattan for a year, right downtown. new jersey isn't far . . . if you haven't seen The Sopranos yet it's now a must!
Oh wow!! That's so exciting. Quite the change from Arkansas I'm sure. How long have you guys been down there now?
definitely the huuuge change from arkansas! we've been here almost 2 years and will definitely be sad to leave the warm weather and nice southerners.
That is awesome. You and and Amy are both making quick big moves. Congratulations. No matter what part of NJ you live in with a train ride to NY you won't miss the city I am sure. Have fun. Keep updating.
WOW congrats. Sign us up for a visit. I've always wanted to go to NYC. Good luck moving.
Some good friends of ours just moved to New Jersey because he got a job at the Toys r us headquarters, and my cousin is moving to Manhattan. Seems like everyone is headed over there!
